V8 is a United States-based manufacturer of vegetable and fruit juices owned by the Campbell Soup Company. V8 was founded in 1933 as the California Vegetable Juice Company and was purchased by Campbell Soup Company in 1948. The company is best known for producing its signature product, V8 Vegetable Juice, which contains eight vegetables: tomato, carrot, beetroot, celery, parsley, lettuce, watercress and spinach. V8 also produces a range of other products such as V8 Splash juice drinks, V8 Fusion juice drinks (juices blended with fruit puree), and low sodium versions of their iconic vegetable juice line. In addition to these beverages, the company has recently added a line of energy drinks called "V Energy."
