Scott is a Swiss manufacturer of high-end bicycles and cycling accessories. Founded in 1958 by Ed Scott, the company has its headquarters in Givisiez, Switzerland. The company was an early innovator in the field of mountain biking, introducing the first mass produced mountain bike in 1986. Today, Scott produces a wide range of bicycles including road racing, triathlon/time trial, cyclocross, enduro/all-mountain, downhill and electric bikes. They also produce helmets and other cycling accessories such as clothing and shoes. Scott bikes are used by some of the world's top professional cyclists such as Nairo Quintana and Vincenzo Nibali who both ride for Team Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling team sponsored by Scott.
