Hormel is an American food manufacturer and distributor founded in 1891 by George A. Hormel in Austin, Minnesota. The company is best known for producing a variety of canned meats such as SPAM, bacon, ham, chili and pepperoni. It also manufactures other products such as deli meats, frozen entrees, shelf-stable foods, and health and wellness products.

Hormel's product line also includes brands that are well-known around the world such as Dinty Moore stews and chili sauces, Jennie-O turkey products, Applegate organic meat products and Skippy peanut butter.
