Henkel is a German multinational consumer goods and chemical company founded in 1876. The company specializes in cleaning agents, adhesives, beauty products, laundry and home care products, as well as technologies such as electronics assembly materials. Henkel has more than 50,000 employees in over 200 countries around the world and is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The company was originally known for its laundry detergents but over time it has diversified into several other product categories including cosmetics, hair care products, fabric conditioners, antiperspirants/deodorants and toiletries. Henkel also produces a wide range of industrial chemicals such as paints, glues and sealants for both commercial and private use.
