Austin Wholesale Offers

Austin is a British automobile manufacturer that was founded in 1905 by Herbert Austin. It has been credited as one of the first mass-production car companies and had a huge impact on the automotive industry for decades. The company's main production was focused on small family cars, although it also produced light commercial vehicles and motorcycles. In 1952, Austin merged with Morris Motors to form the British Motor Corporation (BMC). BMC later became British Leyland in 1968 and eventually the Rover Group in 1986 which included the Austin brand until 2000 when MG Rover took over ownership.

Throughout its history, Austin produced many of Britain's most popular cars such as the Seven, Mini, Metro and Allegro. The last car produced under their name was the Maestro hatchback in 1994 before being discontinued in 1995 due to low sales figures.

Today, there are still many classic Austins around but they have become increasingly harder to find due to their age and lack of production. For those who own an Austin or are interested in owning one, there are many online forums dedicated to helping owners restore their beloved cars back to their former glory.
